Pisa, Italy

Today we took an excursion from Florence to Pisa to see the "Field of Miracles," the square that houses the basilica, baptistry, and famous leaning tower.

It poured almost without respite. Luckily, there were friendly locals that just happened to have umbrellas they were willing to sell to a bus-load of tourists.

Alas, I miscalculated the times of the tours inside the tower, so I wasn't able to enter or climb inside it. But I did get to climb on the exterior wall of the square and explore the basilica and the baptistry.
