Martin Kenny pointed out this morning that NWN looks pretty crappy in IE and Opera (though he chose somewhat gentler words).

IE I'm willing to accept; in IE, I'm content if it's legible. But Opera is another story, they have a reputation for good CSS support.

The answer: mea culpa. Martin noticed that I was using a non-standard way to refer to external CSS stylesheets, with a bogus src attribute on the <style> element. My bad.

It's fixed now, and things have been rebuilt. So, Opera users, you should be much relieved next time your eyes wander over these pixels.

IE users, well, I don't know what to say. Maybe this helped. Maybe it didn't. Next time I boot a machine where I can run IE, I'll take a look.
