pointed out this morning that NWN looks pretty
crappy in
IE<indexterm>
      <primary>Web Browsers</primary>
<secondary>Internet Explorer</secondary>
    </indexterm> and
Opera<indexterm>
      <primary>Web Browsers</primary>
<secondary>Opera</secondary>
    </indexterm> (though he chose somewhat gentler words).</para>

<para xml:id="p3">IE I'm willing to accept; in IE, I'm content if it's legible.
But Opera is another story, they have a reputation for good CSS
support.</para>

<para xml:id="p4">The answer: mea culpa. Martin noticed that I was using a non-standard
way to refer to external CSS stylesheets, with a bogus
<tag class="attribute">src</tag> attribute on the <tag>style</tag>
element. My bad.</para>

<para xml:id="p5">It's fixed now, and things have been rebuilt. So, Opera users, you
should be much relieved next time your eyes wander over these pixels.</para>

<para xml:id="p6">IE users, well, I don't know what to say. Maybe this helped.
Maybe it didn't. Next time I boot a machine where I can run IE, I'll
take a look.</para>
