There are reasons I don't live up there, and four days of sunshine in some months is one of them. Anyway, I'm happy to report that the pots on the deck have started to recover. As for the roses, well, these are a small, climbing variety and I have no desire to fight about whose are fatter. I'll take elegance over flash any day. This little thistle relative is doing nicely too.
