<para xml:id="p2">This is the second <link xlink:href="http://docbook.org/docbook-ng/">DocBook NG</link>
release (<link xlink:href="../01/absinthe/">Absinthe</link> was the first).
Markup wise, there are only a few small bug fixes. The
significant changes are:</para>

<para xml:id="p4">There’s a <tag class="attribute">version</tag> attribute
in the common attributes</para>

<para xml:id="p5">Version is a required attribute on the root element (enforced by
Schematron)</para>
</listitem>
<listitem>
<para xml:id="p6">I removed most of the build magic so that the source RELAX NG files can
be used directly</para>
</listitem>

<para xml:id="p7">I think my next focus will be on conversion to DTDs and W3C XML Schemas
and on stylesheet support.</para>
