The Pacific Heights cache overlooks the Spreckels Mansion, currently the residence of Danielle Steele. At least I think it did, or does, I wasn’t able to find it.

That’s a view of the mansion from the spot where I think the cache should have been. Even early in the morning, there were frequent passers-by, so I was forced to search fairly surreptitiously. I suppose I could have missed it.
