<para xml:id='p1'>This is <link xlink:href="/threads/refactorDocBook">the fifth</link>
release of <link xlink:href="http://docbook.org/docbook-ng/">DocBook NG</link>.

<para xml:id='p2'>I thought I’d wait a little longer for this release, leaving it until
the post-DocBook 4.4 time frame, but I decided to fix a few bugs sooner
rather than later.</para>

<para xml:id='p3'>I restored the <tag>link</tag> element. Using <tag>phrase</tag>
as a replacement was stupid.</para>

<para xml:id='p4'>I fixed bugs in the content model of admonitions with respect to
<tag>info</tag> elements.

<para xml:id='p5'>I adjusted the patterns for CALS tables to prevent <tag>entrytbl</tag>
from appearing directly in the rows of an <tag>entrytbl</tag>. Added
Schematron exclusions to prevent CALS tables from nesting.</para>

<para xml:id='p6'>I finally fixed the <tag>biblioref</tag> bug that
<personname><firstname>Bruce</firstname><surname>D'Arcus</surname></personname>
has kindly reported in each of the previous two releases. The
<tag>citation</tag> element now allows all the inlines, including
<tag>biblioref</tag>.</para>
