Well, it seemed like an irresistible Friday lunchtime prank.

That is an undoctored photo of my desktops, both physical and virtual. What a hoot. (I know, I know, I'm easily amused.)

This essay is also an experiment in hosting my images at Flickr rather than locally. I'm tempted mostly by the image annotation feature at Flickr.
