Go some distance away because then the work appears smaller and more of it can be taken in at a glance and a lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen. “Gone fishin'” in a figurative sense, that is. Simply on vacation for the literal minded among you. I might squeeze in another essay or two before I leave, I suppose, but equally, I might not.
