A final wave before heading out the door.

As I wrote before, on Sunday I'm off to XML 2005. I have tutorial slides and a couple of posters in hand, and most of the slides for my paper talk in draft form (that's less than ideal but better than average for me).

As always, I'm looking forward to it. I've tinkered with my plans a little bit, but they're only a sketch anyway. Interesting people and interesting ideas abound, plans are fickle things.

I anticipate having connectivity, even if I have to pay for it, so there's no technical reason I can't post from the conference, but I don't have a very good track record for accomplishing that. Between breakfast and after dinner chats, the days are pretty full. Lots of time to listen and react, but not a lot a lot of time to compose coherent thoughts.

More when I have something[1]. And here's hoping to see you there! Please do come say hello at the Sun booth in the exhibit area, if you don't bump into me somewhere else. Or even if you do.

[1]And apologies if this doesn't turn up in a timely fashion. There seems to be something wrong with my hosting provider; ssh is failing so there's no way for me to actually post this. I hope it's an intermittent problem that goes away by itself and not something I have to try and deal with from on the road.
