This is the permanent status page for XML Unicode. XML Unicode provides some convenience methods for inserting Unicode characters into XML in Emacs. Version 1.7 is now available.

XML Unicode provides several convenient mechanisms for inserting Unicode characters into XML in Emacs. This version of xmlunicode improves the single-quote cycling, supporting apostrophe in the cycle, and fixes a small dependency bug.

The current release is 1.7 from 01 December 2005. This is a stable release; it is implemented in Emacs lisp and runs on any platform that supports GNU Emacs.
