Taking the easy way out: more pictures means more essays, right?
In an effort to up my average for next year, I think more photographic postings are in order. (Since moving my photos to Flickr, I think I've been posting essays about them less frequently.)
Fountains of Azaleas are in blossom in our front flower bed.
The Bleeding Heart is robust.
And I'm happy to see the herps are back. Here's a toad. The peepers went madly all spring, though they're being overshadowed by the gray treefrogs now. Must get some photos of them.
