I'm going to drop off the grid later today and, though I may write more essays this year[1], it's unlikely that anything else will be published in 'aught six.

I hope you've had a good year. I hope you enjoyed your occasional visits to this little corner of the web. I don't know why you read it, but I'm glad you do.

[1]IBM warranty repair exceeded my expectations again. I shipped my broken laptop on Monday and had it back on Wednesday. Plenty of time to get it ready for our trip.
