How to summarize
a
twelve day cruise?
I'm not sure, exactly.
I had thought I might write a little every day, but the first few days were
rough and cold and it seemed petulant to write complaints about a free
cruise.After fighting wind and waves, crossing from Nassau to San Juan,
the weather improved and there was much relaxation to be had lying on
deck 12 imbibing drinks around little paper umbrellas, reading, and
soaking up the sun between shore excursions.Beautiful sunsets, excellent service, delicious food, snorkling,
sailing (and even trained flamingos in Nassau). Cruising for cruising's sake
isn't something I feel any need to do again, but it was
relaxing.Except for the helicopter rescue a day's sail from Key West, the
most exciting part of the days at sea was
Bingo. Suited us fine.I hope the gentleman who collapsed made a full recovery.More
