Winter cast His frosty gaze over the landscape last night.
It is still a couple of weeks too early to declare that we are beyond His icy grip.
Yet the pale spring sun made short work of His efforts. By lunchtime, snow survives only in the deepest shadows.

Once again, through your New England winter images, you've made me "stuck" in southern California .. I miss that part of the world and the seasons .. snowshoeing in the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks .. your photos could have been taken out of my memory .. thank you for them ..
