Although there's certainly been a scattered peeper or two this spring, the wood frogs are the first real chorus I've heard. It sounds like a convention of angry ducks gathering at the little pond down beside the road. The poor things are going to get slushed on this evening. I'll have to see if I can get some pics of them calling before they disperse back into the wilderness.
