This is the fifth and possibily last “candidate release” of DocBook V5.0.

The specification for DocBook V5.0CR5 reads:

There are no user-visible changes in DocBook V5.0CR5. If no bug reports are received before the August, 2007 DocBook TC meeting, this version will become the offiical DocBook V5.0 release.

At long last! You know what to do!

So what to do? Celebrate and upgrade?

Test, Josef. Test, test, test. The same thing I've pleaded for in every other DocBook V5.0CRx release essay. If there are bugs, I really want to find them before the final, official release.
