<para xml:id="p1">I noticed recently that it's been a long time since
I posted any photographs here. I'm not sure if that's a good thing (if you
care about my photography, you can subscribe to my
<wikipedia>Flickr</wikipedia> feed) or a bad thing (who has time to
subscribe to, or follow, every possible feed for things of such limited
significance as photographs taken by random people they know from the
web?).</para>

<para xml:id="p2">Either way, I think I'll try to start posting more photographs.
I'm working on my own
<link xlink:href="http://photojojo.com/content/tutorials/project-365-take-a-photo-a-day/">Project 365</link>, so there are more than the usual number.</para>

<para xml:id="p3">The <wikipedia page="Technical_Architecture_Group">TAG</wikipedia> went
to Vancouver last month for a face-to-face meeting. Here we are on the last
day:</para>

<para xml:id="p5">It's easy to get up very early in the morning when you've travelled
east-to-west, so I started with a five AM walk along the sea wall.</para>

<para xml:id="p7">I took advantage of long exposures to take a couple of self portraits.
I'm intrigued by the technique, but I don't think these are going to remain
among my favorite examples.</para>
