No. More. Boxes.

You might have thought that one was enough, but you would have been mistaken. However, five does seem to be enough, at least for the time being.

The time I haven't spent banging away on Calabash, I've spent…banging away on four more book cases. This week Deb treated, stained, and varnished them.

Today, we unpacked the last boxes of books. Boxes that have been packed since we moved in, something like ten years ago.

That feels good.

And it looks good, if I do say so myself.

The next project is a new closet at the top of the stairs, where the boxes of books have been piled since the last time we moved them.

On the subject of home improvement, we've done a lot to our house, but the one thing we concluded we really couldn't do was install a fireplace. (Save the arguments about energy efficiency, a fireplace is magical and I don't care.)

But Deb, never satisfied until ever option has been explored, found us this one:
