I reported a couple of weeks ago that the ballot to make DocBook V5.0 an OASIS Standard was open. I can now report that the ballot is closed, it closed on 31 October. To my great satisfaction, I can also report that we easily cleared the process hurdles. DocBook V5.0 is officially an OASIS Standard. I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to help us get here: users, reviewers, members of the Technical Committee (past and present), and the OASIS members who voted for us, of course.
