SeatGuru without the Javascript

Volume 8, Issue 9; 17 Jan 2005; last modified 08 Oct 2010

Saved from another four and a half hours without power.

Fool me once, the saying begins. For my connecting flight, I did try to check with SeatGuru before boarding.

This gadget doesn't do Javascript so I thought for a moment that I was going to be stymied. The SeatGuru site is heavy into Javascript (for no paricularly good reason, it's just another example of gratuitous design as far as I can tell).

All was not lost however, the SeatGuru folks have started a "mobile" service, mobile.seatguru.com that isn't cluttered with scripting and worked perfectly. Good to know!

I now expect power, and a little exit-row legroom to boot.
