I jumped the gun a bit yesterday and started publishing Atom format-08 feeds. I've backed that change out for the time being.

I jumped the gun a bit yesterday and started publishing Atom format-08 feeds. I was trying (again) to get Technorati to respect the tag markup on my pages.

They ignore the dc:subject elements in my feed, they ignore the atom:category elements in my feed, and they even seem to ignore the HTML markup when I arrange to ping an Atom entry that contains the entire text of the essay. My bug maybe, but I can't fathom how exactly.

Anyway, my newest (and perhaps last) attempt is to add the HTML markup to the atom:summary elements in the feeds. In the process, I upgraded to format-08, but that was unnecessary and apparently a little premature.

All fixed now.
