DocBookers Dinner
Coming to Boston for XML 2006? Interested in DocBook? Eat? Let's have dinner!
Once again, in the spirit of blog-announced geek dinners, I propose to dine with DocBook geeks at XML 2006. That's you, dear readers, or at least those of you who will be in the vacinity of the Sheraton Boston Hotel and in possession of both your appetites and at least a passing interest in DocBook.
Concrete plans always work better than vague ones, so I propose that we meet in the hotel lobby at 7:30p on Wednesday evening, departing for dinner promptly at 8:00p. There must be restaurants close by. If not, the East Coast Grill is one of my favorite spots and can't be more than five or ten minutes by cab.
If you look at the program, you'll see that there are events every evening. There's nothing to be done about that. If you're not free for dinner, I'll be wandering around every day.
If you're interested in dinner on Wednesday evening, add a comment. Restaurant suggestions most welcome.

Count me in! I don't have any preference as to restaurants. See you there!
I'll be there.
There's a Legal Seafood in the mall complex attached to the hotel that's good, though crowded. Perhaps they take reservations?
Otherwise if we're cabbing it the Union Oyster House is always worth a trip (especially if you've never been there.) Possibly the oldest restaurant in the US.
In Boston in December, we may very well want to avoid going outside. Legal's a good choice.
In the absence of consensus for some other venue, I'll call Legal early in the week and see if I can get a reservation for the number of folks who replied here.
I'll be there, and I'm seeing if I can round up some other O'Reilly-folk. Legal sounds good.
Count me in + possibly one other.
Save a seat for me too, please (another O'Reilly, er, associate).
See you there. I vote for the East Coast Grill.
Is it too late to add one more? If not, pls count me in.
Make room for one more!
