Mark Logic User Conference

Volume 11, Issue 47; 13 May 2008; last modified 08 Oct 2010

Join us in San Francisco for an in-depth look at Mark Logic and what we can enable for you.

I learned yesterday that I'll be speaking at the Mark Logic User Conference. Nothing like a little pressure to focus the mind. :-) (In all likelihood, I'll be co-presenting one of the sessions with someone who actually knows a good deal more than I do about these things.)

But seriously, it really looks like a great conference and a great place to talk with folks working on some big, serious deployments of some seriously cool stuff.

Skimming the program, I see publishing talks, long-tail/syndication/Web 2.0 talks, browsing and navigation talks, search talks, dynamic content talks, metadata talks, and hot topics like geospatial tagging and rapid application development. Those are interesting topics whether or not you're using the server today.

If you are using Mark Logic Server there's training before the conference and a whole series of talks about deployment issues, scalability, and administration that are bound to be useful.

I hope to see you there! Please do make a point to say “hello”. As an added bonus, I've been told that the discount code “mlo8eb” will save you about 30% on the registration fee!

looking forward to it - be interested to see what you have to say as the new boy... ;-)
