Spring flowers

The Smith College Bulb Show is always a welcome splash of color.

Tim has his crocuses, we have the Smith College Bulb Show. Well, in fairness, we have crocuses too, but if they're trying to come up in my yard now, they're smashing their poor little heads against the unusually persistent blanket of icy snow.

You can just about make out the blue on the end of this red, white, and blue display.

(And, no, I didn't do that to the petal, I just took advantage of it.)

I can't believe I haven't posed any of these since 2006!
