It's spring and a young man's fancy lightly turns to…yeah, well, that and getting out on his bike.
First ride of the season: 17.6 miles at 12.1 mph (April 15).
Do you really want a blow-by-blow account of all my rides this year? Probably not. But I don't think it'll do you any harm.

That's how it looked a couple of years ago when you started it ... wasn't it?
Have you blown the dust and cobwebs off it Norm? Is it really too cold to ride in the winter where you are?
It's too cold for me. I'm sure there are intrepid souls willing to ride in the single digits Celsius, but that does not sound like fun. And even if it did, you couldn't reliably ride all year. Most winters we get snow and you'd have to have a pretty cavalier attitude about your own health and safety to fight with traffic on roads narrowed by ice and snow.
