I'm sure it's by coincidence that sharp-eyed journalists have spotted a cute Amazon story on the year's busiest day for online shopping.—@htfb

Pre-ordered my @Coin today! Follow me to glory at—@DALDEI
@DALDEI @coin what I want is a credit card that will handle my expense reports for me. do that please.—@eedeebee
@eedeebee @DALDEI I just want a FREAKING chip-and-pin card. You know, something from the twenty-first century.—@ndw
@ndw @eedeebee @daldei I'd say "get an overseas account" but banks are leery of "toxic us persons" these days.—@aljopainter

Is it me or are there dozens of reasons why Amazon Prime Air is not a good idea: Weather conditions determine availability of service.—@philipfennell
@philipfennell It got their name all over the press on Cyber Monday. Mission accomplished.—@ndw
@ndw @philipfennell Did you just write “Cyber Monday”?—@ebruchez

Is still the state of the art in representing calendar data in RDF?—@ndw
@ndw State of the art? No. In some state, yes.—@alexmilowski
@alexmilowski Thanks. That’s very help…no, nevermind.—@ndw
@ndw OK, OK ... You might be able to use this:—@alexmilowski
@alexmilowski You jest. That’s not even close enough to be funny.—@ndw
@ndw I said "might" ... there isn't much out there besides things based on RFC 2554.—@alexmilowski
@ndw if you find otherwise (and it’s ripe for fresh eyes if so), do shout—@nevali
@nevali @ndw It is _perfect_ :-P—@libbymiller
@libbymiller @ndw :) it has an “interesting” approach to timezones…—@nevali
@ndw then art is in a sad state :-p—@hutchkintoot

Assume I conclude that I can live w/o commercial apps (PS, Lightroom, …), I’m left with contacts and calendars and Exchange and oh %#@$!—@ndw
@ndw I use my phone or tablet for most calendar-related stuff (via @nitrodesk TouchDown) or OWA if I need to on my desktop.—@cramerdw
@cramerdw I guess that’s one option. But I like to build my own XML view of my schedule for various purposes so it’s not a perfect option.—@ndw
@ndw Evolution may help with some of those. Don't know which DE you're looking at, or which v. of Exchange you have to use.—@CanOfBees

Devs, would really like your feedback with a W3C spec I'm working on for "installable webapps". What do you prefer?—@marcosc
@marcosc Complex syntaxes in attributes is generally a recipe for pain. Please no.—@robinberjon
@robinberjon @marcosc What Robin said. Times a million.—@ndw
@ndw @robinberjon please please please leave a comment in the gist as to why it's a bad idea. Would be super helpful! Will owe you 🍺.—@marcosc
@marcosc Will do when I get in front of a computer. @ndw—@robinberjon

@jirkakosek @sgmlguru @xmlprague Thank you for more time! Now all I need is a good idea...—@ndw

OH “Inferencing is transformation you haven’t done yet."—@ndw
@ndw that's a good way of looking at it: in #RDF-land, inferencing literally transforms your triple bag into a bigger triple bag.—@dret
@ndw alternatively, you could say: inferencing is like default values on steroids, crack, and triple lattes all at the same time.—@dret

Wednesday at 02:07pm

MT @ndw: OH “Inferencing is transformation you haven’t done yet." <- some groups could adopt that as a slogan—@der42

@ndw um, didn't you askfor a Windows desktop.—@collwhit

@ndw it’s like this country where people absolutely *need* to lock files in a repository, because how could it ever work otherwise!—@icing
