Congratulations @FakeUnicode something your tweetstream completely crashes @fenix_app *sigh* Unfollow or switch apps, what to do, ...—@ndw
@ndw @FakeUnicode @fenix_app is it exploitable?—@roessler
@roessler @FakeUnicode @fenix_app If "crash the app" is an exploit, yes. I'm not prepared to hazard a guess about something more malicious.—@ndw
@ndw @FakeUnicode if in doubt, assume it is. Hence, abandon @fenix_app.—@roessler

Sunday at 08:26pm

@FakeUnicode @roessler @fenix_app Nope. Not that one.—@ndw

Sunday at 08:32pm

@FakeUnicode @roessler @fenix_app It gets back to here then the web and Fenix diverge. Reply to dd9000 is the last.—@ndw

Sunday at 08:36pm

@FakeUnicode @ndw @roessler @fenix_app i did already have someone else tell me an early unicode word crashed their (different) client—@eevee

I still rail against the paucity of markup extensibility in #markdown and its ilk, but hats off to #CommonMark for a clear, concise spec.—@ndw
@ndw Which one are you trying? cmark?—@dpawson
.@dpawson I was just reading the spec. I haven't tried anything yet. I've been using #AsciiDoc but it has no spec.—@ndw
@ndw I've used pymarkdown (with an extension) as reliable / easy to use, for a while now. YMMV?—@dpawson
@ndw @dpawson One day ;)—@mojavelinux
@ndw it's purely presentational, not semantic. They don't understand or don't care. Either way, I think there's value in the simplicity.—@chrisnitchie

3 year old Teva sandles have finally worn out. Remarkably *the same model* is still available at the same price! #thatneverhappens —@ndw
@ndw Lucky you! I went to repeat a shoe order to get "We stopped making that model 12 years ago". Lesson to be learned there Norm.—@dpawson

@ndw @grechaw @YouTube Ironically and sadly blocked in the UK due to copyright restrictions...—@stevemallen
.@stevemallen Irony indeed. His thesis, reasonably argued, is that current tax law punishes being nice and having a conscience.—@ndw

Am I overlooking something or does #CommonMark really provide no mechanism for adding IDs that you can link to? (Short of raw HTML tags.)—@ndw
. @ndw CommonMark 1.0 covers the "core" only w/o any "extensions". Adding IDs is solved using auto-ids or heading ids or attribute lists etc—@manuscriptsnews
@ndw Ditto pymarkdown. <a name...> solution isn't too bad. (emacs macro?)—@dpawson
